Definition of BEAD STRINGING
the art of placing beads onto any thread-like medium (string, silk thread, nylon thread, leather thong, thin wire, multi-stranded beading wire, or a soft, flexible wire) to create simple one strand or multiple strand creations.
In this class, students will learn how to choose proper beads and threading medium to create a necklace, a bracelet, and, if time allows, a student choice project. Knotting techniques and proper tool use will also be covered. All material needed for class is supplied by MGMS and included in class fee.
