Definition of INTARSIA
the art of creating stone to stone inlay jewelry; a technique in which the artist fits stones directly against each other, requiring great precision of cutting and design

In this class, students will learn how to cut, file, sand and prepare different stone to assemble a pendant, a ring, and a student choice project. Equipment safety,  and clean up will also be covered.  All material needed for class is supplied by MGMS and included in class fee.  

All students must complete our Lapidary class prior to Intarsia.
